Holiday Season Exhibitions

On December 21th, in spite of rumors of the End of the World and a strong wind that reminded us of hurricane Sandy, we held the opening of a photo exhibition. From Russia, Anastasia Evseeva, Naira Avison and Yana Yartseva were the artists whose works were displayed in the Parlor Room at Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew on the Upper West Side, Manhattan.

Our event was attended by our friends and partners from various organizations such as the United Nations headquarters, Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Consulate General of the Russian Federation in New York, Museum of Russian Art, Russian Center in New York, The New International Center in New York, as well as from other non-profit and business organizations.

Our project has been designed as an international one, and natives of around a dozen countries were among our guests. The outstanding quality of the photo exhibits was remarked on.

We thank the officials and administrators of Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew for hosting our event. All the proceeds from the sale of artworks will go to the Church charity programs.  We’d also like to thank those who inspired us to tackle the event organization, our friends and supporters Mila Belkina, Tamara Fershteter and Yuriy Super who helped us with the exhibition’s and its opening’s preparation, and our Russian artists without whose wonderful works this festival wouldn’t be possible.
